Oh... I am loving it here!! Just moved the family last two Sunday's ago, and got the kids into a dope Kung Fu School... Not quite as hot outside as it was when I was here 2-3 weeks before with Akbar. That was oppressive heat!! So much so that I made it a point on the way down with the kids to stop at a rest stop and stand in the sun for 4-5 minutes talking. Just when they started to complain about the heat I prolonged our talk for another minute or so to make a point. I reminded them that their ancestors worked as slaves in this heat from "can't see to can't see" (before dawn to after dusk). No A/C, no TV, the worst living conditions, food, and treatment many times. Unable to date, and befriend who they liked. ... and boy it was hot!

In any case...

I'm here now, and the vibe is very positive. Thank goodness we've grown since then. Black Prezi and all....
